October 2009, Ireland "Blasphemy" Law

25,000 Euros's for bad talking or offending any person's religious beliefs.

The law in Ireland still exists unlike other countries, basically they have updated it to include all religions not just the Roman Catholic.

Pope breaks Wrist ...

Fall sends Pope Benedict into surgery on vacation.

PM of Canada and the Eucharist

Still don't get it, he's not Catholic, the bishop knew this but still administered it, does the aid of the Prime Minister not advise him of proper protocol, let alone the fact did he consume it, I'd say "yes" to it being a big deal, what a lame excuse ...

Quote from Catholic Culture: Prime Minister Stephen Harper has blamed the controversy of his recent reception of Holy Communion on “people who want to cause embarrassment in religion and drive a wedge between Protestants and Catholics.”

Thats more than the embarassment, we voted him in!!

Meet Michael Coren, now contributing to the Catholic Register

Michael Coren is to the point, humourous, fearless, controversial, possibly blatant well-know Canadian catholic journalist/columnist, author and T.V. broadcaster whose opinions can send people screaming mad, he has a comment or response for everything and will challenge anyone regarding our faith.

He is one of the most interesting faithful Catholic voices around. I would really like to post many of this man's articles or opinions, whether you agree with everything or not, he will at the very least make you think about our actions as a catholic, especially here in Canada, brilliant like our Saint in SA.

His first contribution to "Catholic Register" is very cool and to the point, the article is linked below. Enjoy.
